For developers, AI agents, and platforms

Build with Collective2.

Your software, your AI agent, or your platform can drive a Collective2 account: find strategies, subscribe, turn autotrading on and off, and watch results. The account holder approves the moments that matter, on pages we host.

One HTTP API, JSON in and out, a key in the Authorization header. Machine-readable versions of this page: agents.md and llms.txt. Using an AI assistant rather than writing code? Point it here.

Using an AI assistant?

Point it at Collective2.

You do not need to write code. Give ChatGPT, Claude, or any other assistant the prompt below. It reads our agent guide, then helps you find strategies and set them up; you approve the price and the broker agreement yourself, on our pages.

Works with any assistant that can read a web page. For agent frameworks, hand over agents.md or the OpenAPI document.

Read https://collective2.com/agents.md, then help me use Collective2: find strategies that fit what I describe, and when I choose one, walk me through subscribing and turning on autotrading. Ask me for my Collective2 API key when you need it. Never enter payment details for me; I approve those on Collective2's own pages.

Three ways to build

The same API serves an investor's personal agent, a strategy manager's trading software, and a partner running a whole platform.

For an investor's AI agent

An agent acting for a member can search the marketplace, screen strategies by statistics, start a subscription, switch autotrading on and off, and report on billing and positions.

  • Find: search and screen strategies
  • Subscribe: the member approves the price on our page
  • Autotrade: on and off, once the member has accepted the broker agreement
  • Monitor: subscriptions, billing state, account sync

For strategy managers

Publish trades from your own software. Create a strategy, post orders, or simply state the positions you want and let Collective2 work out the orders.

  • Create a strategy (paid manager plan)
  • Post orders, or set desired positions
  • Read your equity, positions, and subscribers

For platforms and partners

Brokers, educators, and market professionals run their own user interface on top of Collective2 through a partner edition of the API: catalog, subscriptions, and autotrade start and stop.

  • Your users, your interface, our marketplace and execution
  • Identity ceremony before any real-money trading
  • Webhooks for approval lifecycle events

What an agent can do today

Every call below is live on the General API. The agent guide lists the exact requests and fields for each loop.

Find

  • SearchStrategies — live, publicly subscribable strategies
  • SearchHistoricalStrategies — screen by up to six statistics as of any date; a research mode includes dead and killed strategies so results are free of survivorship bias
  • GetStrategyDetails, GetStrategyHistoricalClosedTrades

Subscribe

  • CreateSubscriptionCheckout — returns a price quote and an approval link
  • The member opens the link, reads the agreement, and pays once
  • GetSubscriptionCheckoutStatus — poll until the subscription is active

Autotrade

  • StartAutotrade — refused with an approval link until the member has accepted the broker agreement, then succeeds
  • StopAutotrade — safe to repeat; tells you when nothing changed
  • Ten changes per minute per member, then a clear slow-down response

Monitor

  • GetSubscribedStrategies — next charge date and price, billing interval, cancellation pending, billing failures
  • GetAutotradeSyncStatusReport — how the brokerage account tracks the strategy

Consent, by design

An agent may drive every step except three. At each of these the API stops and returns a link; the account holder opens it, reads, and approves. The agent never enters a card number, never clicks an agreement, and never approves on the person's behalf.

Start in three steps

Create a key

Sign in and create an API key on your account page. It takes about a minute. Keys are created by a person, never issued automatically: the sign-in is the proof that a real member owns the account.

The interactive documentation covers the General, Strategies, and AutoTrade endpoints. A machine-readable OpenAPI 3 document is available for code generation and for agents.
