As a former actuary, statistical analysis is my focus. All strategies are 100% systematic. I have developed several dozen proprietary indicators over different instruments. My testing involves numerous out of sample data sets that must yield similar results to my initial analysis. Only then are any strategies added to any systems.
I started a basic VIX system in 2012, which I closed soon thereafter as I felt C2 was not the best platform for it. I then started an additional short 3x ETFs & VIX program in 2013, but realized it would not outperform in 'normal' markets, which might take years, so I shut that down in early 2014 (2 trades remained open, thus the performance). I started a FX scalping program in late 2016, but found the execution on C2 was not good enough, so I stopped running it here.
