About this strategy

This system is based on the Elite Trader thread by Scottd. Scottd implemented this system in Tradestation, only to draw the conclusion that it was not profitable on a forward test or backtest basis. The reason for this failure is because the system is based on the volume of .SPX in Wealth Lab Pro.

I have made modifications to the original script allegedly representing Jack Hersheys Cash Cow Version 1.0 ATS. While the system is available publicly, it lacks the modifications necessary to make it into a truly profitable system. I implemented this by tracking the volume of .SPX and its pricing and utilize SDS and SSO for the trades.

My backtest is listed below, and you may contact me for further information.

Since 9/1/2008, using 100% of equity, I have obtained the following results for this system:

Past results are not necessarily indicative of future results.

These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.
