About this strategy

GammaBusters is a quantitative, rules-based strategy that trades same-day expiring SPX options (0DTE) with a focus on consistent premium capture, strict risk control, and minimal overnight exposure.

The strategy dynamically sells credit spreads in the direction of market flow using real-time option chain data, volatility structure, and intraday momentum indicators. All trades are entered algorithmically and are either held to expiration or stopped out based on predefined risk thresholds.

Core Principles

Defined risk per trade – stop orders are automatically placed upon entry.
No overnight exposure – all positions close by market end.
Data-driven entries – based on intraday changes in SPX volatility skew and gamma flow.
Consistent edge – focuses on premium efficiency and minimizing drawdowns.

Philosophy
The strategy is designed for disciplined investors seeking consistent, uncorrelated returns derived from short-term volatility and market structure inefficiencies — not long directional bets.

All signals, trade executions, and stops are handled automatically, ensuring emotion-free, systematic execution.

Past results are not necessarily indicative of future results.

These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.
