Every day, Collective2's most active
traders open one or more Instant Trade Messenger windows. When a trading
system posts a new trade recommendation, that signal gets
"beamed" nearly instantly into the ITM window of a subscriber.
Thus, the ITM window is a powerful tool for reaching active traders who
follow trading systems. They are likely to watch their ITM windows with
great interest over the course of each trading day.
Collective2 is now allowing selected
vendors to sponsor the ITM window. Sponsorship appears in a small area of
the window, where it will not interfere with rapid-fire trading, and where
it will be regarded as valuable information by traders, and not a
distraction. Due to the nature of the ITM window, such sponsorship will be
keenly viewed by a highly-desirable demographic -- active system traders
who are willing to pay for trading subscriptions.
If you are the owner of a C2 trading
system, you can sponsor the ITM window immediately using one of our
pre-set "content templates" that insures that your sponsorship:
(1) is not distracting to traders, and (2) contains accurate, tasteful
information. Other types of sponsors may appear in the ITM window -- or
system vendor may choose to use customized content -- but this will
require approval by the C2 Administrator, and is thus not instantaneous.
Cost
Sponsoring the ITM window uses metrics a
bit different than traditional Web advertising metrics. Since the ITM
window is constantly updating itself, there is no real
"impression" to measure. Instead, we measure
"people-minutes." That is, one people-minute means your
sponsorship will appear in front of one person for one minute during the
course of the day.
We sell sponsorships in blocks of 400
people-minutes (pm). The smallest sponsorship you can buy costs $20
dollars for 400 pms (in other words, it costs $0.05 to put your
sponsorship in front of one person for one minute).
Needless to say, when you buy a block of 400
pms, your actual sponsorship will appear at various times during the
day, and will be shown to various users. Our computer software
rotates sponsorships so that all sponsors receive exposure during the 7
peak trading hours each day.

choose from one of our pre-approved text templates. If you prefer to use
your own sponsorship text (or if you want to advertise a service such as a
brokerage), you will not appear instantly. Your text will need to be
approved by a C2 Administrator, which may take up to 24 hours.
